What happens to a dollar after it leaves your hand? A documentary on spending, ownership and where wealth actually settles.
A filmmaker survives a widowmaker heart attack — and turns the warning signs he missed into a documentary series about prevention, recovery and the circle of love that carries you back.

A cinematic documentary project inspired by Dr. Ric Mathis's survival of a massive widowmaker heart attack. Heartbeat combines personal footage, survivor testimony, medical expertise, holistic health conversations, and community storytelling to examine warning signs, prevention, recovery, resilience, and the power of a circle of love.
The series moves between the clinical and the personal: cardiologists explaining what a 100% blockage of the left anterior descending artery actually does to a body, and the far quieter footage of a man learning to walk the Atlanta Beltline again.
“I have spent two decades pointing a camera at other people's hardest days. Heartbeat is the first time the camera turned around. I lived it, so I am not going to flinch from it — not the fear, not the recovery, and not the questions I still have.”
